Honda announces new HR-V Sport with 1.5 VTEC TURBO engine (+ FOTO)

Honda has revealed more information on the new HR-V Sport, a special level equipment for the restored 2019 model.

It comes with a 1.5 liter VTEC TURBO petrol engine and dynamic chbadis and suspension improvements. The HR-V Sport stands out for its refreshing exterior styling and interior fittings, in addition to the HR-V 2019 standard, as well as special design elements.

The new 1.5 liter VTEC TURBO engine HR-V Sport was used for the first time by the latest generation of Honda Civic. The powerful four-cylinder engine offers improved 2019 HR-V performance with a maximum output of 182 hp (134 kW) at 5,500 rpm for a 6 Mt transmission and 6,000 rpm for a CVT transmission. With a six-speed manual gearbox (6MT), the maximum torque of 240 Nm varies from 1900 to 5000 rpm. The optional 220 Nm CVT is available from 1700 to 5500 rpm.

Honda has developed the HR-V Sport to meet the needs of buyers who want a more dynamic driving experience with a compact SUV. As part of the kit, in order to provide optimum body rigidity, suspension control and a sense of balance of steering, HR-V Sport is equipped with a "Performance Shock" technology Absorb "specially developed. The HR-V Sport combines dynamic styling elements, including narrow front slots, side moldings, wheel moldings and an even more aggressive rear bumper, all with a black finish. The sports trim also includes black mirrors, double exhaust pipes and 18-inch alloy wheels with unique design.

LED headlights are standard equipment and include low and low beam, LED indicators and LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the black chrome trim reflects the design of the front, while the hatchback is accentuated by the dark smoke effect and the black finish of the standard 2019 HR-V.

The driver and front pbadenger compartments have new seats in the cab. The standard HR-V 2019 can also be installed in a similar way, which improves the cushion and support of the back. The dynamic style continues in the cabin with exclusive black and red composite seats and black ceiling finishes that emphasize the sporty appeal of the car.

The production of the 2019 Honda HR-V Sport will begin in January 2019 and will be delivered to customers in the spring of 2019.
