On December 3rd, the AKKA / LAA authors' badociation will organize for the twentieth time the Copyright Infinite Awards, informed Ieva Kolmane, communications specialist at AKKA / LAA.

The 18th edition of the Copyright Infinite Award in 2018 will receive 18 authors for 11 works.

Kinorežisors Varis Brasla and composer Imants Kalnins The prize will be awarded to the film "Sonata of the Lake" (1976, director and screenwriter Gunārs Cilinskis, operator Gvido Skulte). The application may not have had the most important commercial benefits, but it has been the most diverse: the film is publicly displayed, posted on online platforms (LMT CinemaTV, filmas.lv), broadcast in Latvia and in Egypt, retransmitted on cable networks, AKKA / LAA.

Writer Wish Aksten The prize was awarded to the novel "Mātes piens", published in book format by "Dienasgrāmata" in 2015, also available in electronic format; translated into Macedonian, English, Russian, Hungarian, Estonian and Italian (also published in 2018 in Syria and Lithuania, and a Swedish edition entitled "Bitter Milk" is planned). The prize is not awarded by a jury, its recipients are determined by the computerized accounting of the use of the author's quality.
