In the first try of the final, Lasmane did not score, but in the second attempt reached a new personal and U20 record of 13.54 meters . Latvia was the leader of the race until the second jump of Davidsildis Velaskas, in which the 18-year-old athlete showed a result of 13.78 meters. But the Bulgarian Aleksandra Nacheva, who will be only 17 years old in August, responded with a new personal best and the best U20 result this year in the world – 14.18 meters

After the third attempt (Rute – 13.30), there were three athletes registrations. On the fourth try, Lasmanei made another good jump (13.45), but leader Načeva did not even complete the fourth attempt. In the fifth series of jumps, the personal best was corrected by the Brazilian Mirjeli Santuša, hidden at 13.81 meters. In the last two attempts (13.26 and 13.22), Lasmane could no longer jeopardize the medal, but managed to double it with a personal best (13.68) to the Slovenian Eva Pepelnika.

Lasmane arrives in Tampere with a personal best of 13.17 meters. There was only the 11th result in the competition for 25 athletes, but in qualifying competitions, the Latvian already jumped 13.48 meters in the first attempt, correcting not only the personal best, but also the record Latvian U20. Beside Lasmani, only Načeva (13.68) and Santuša (13.60) flock to the qualification.

We recall that on Saturday, the Latvian towel Kristaps Jaunpujens-Pujens finished in 9th place but did not succeed Krisjānim Suntažam ranked 20th in the general clbadification of 26 competitors. Barriere Paul Sprudzane only missed five seconds to reach the semi-finals of a 100-meter barrier. His race ended in 27th place with 41 participants in the competition

Even before the Latvian riders Ilya Petrushenko and Patricia Roshhof did not participate at the 400 meter race. Petrouchenko finished in 27th place, while Roshof, after falling in the last meters, remained in 37th position.
