The telecommunications company Lattelecom has put an end to its long-term cooperation with the Positivus music festival, confirmed Lâsma Trofimova, public relations director of Lattelecom.

She pointed out that, from any cooperation activity, a mutual agreement on its term was concluded. "In cooperation with the Positivus festival, a long-term cooperation agreement was concluded, the end of which was last year," explained Trofimova

following the troubles of the Latvian mobile operator "Latvijas Mobilais telefons" and "Lattelecom". Lattelecom has reduced marketing costs for these ambitious projects, Trofimova noted that the company's cooperation projects have always been and are being evaluated regularly, badessing their relevance to the needs of the business, the solutions and the offers.

The organizers of the festival have not commented on the situation yet.

Lattelecom's cooperation with the Positivus festival began at the end of 2013, according to the Lattelecom website

As reported, Lattelecom is owned by the state in the person Privatization Agency (51%) and Telia Company "subsidiary" Bridge Comm Lattelecom Group owns Lattelecom, Lattelecom BPO, Citrus Solutions, Lattelecom Technology, Media 360 and Baltic Computer Academy. Lattelecom owns 23% of Latvijas Mobilais Telefons Ltd.

The consolidated business figure of Lattelecom last year was 195.67 million euros, or 1.1% or 2.4 million more than in 2016, while its consolidated profit rose 26.4% or 8.5 million euros to reach 40.7 million euros.
