Basketball was spectacular and productive, but Montenegro was poorly led. The Latvian national team failed to reach their rivals, but it arrived early in the second quarter when the score was 25:24, bringing Mārtiņš Meiera four points in a row. After that, the game remained unchanged for a few minutes and the opponents received a technical score that allowed Rihards Lomažs to "hit" Latvia first and foremost for the first time. In the second half, an uncompromising fight took place between the two units. Latvia has not yet succeeded since its opponents had a five-point lead.
