In the fourth quarter, the Latvian team continued its breakthrough, with a two-minute lead at 17 points (65:48). In the middle of the quarter, the Russian team was able to force the opponents to make mistakes, which allowed them to beat the deficit by 13 points (54:67). The goalkeeper gave nothing but the Latvian basketball team found the 17 points in advance and managed to keep the lead up to the game. As a result, the Latvian U-20 team won the match with 76:62, winning bronze medals and securing a place in the A division.
