Latvia's new BMX riders win six Diena awards at the European Championship

During the UEC BMX Bike Race, the youngest group of athletes up to the age of 12 competed for the winners. Among them, there was also a group of Latvian BMX riders.

The girls of the G12 met in the final with two athletes from our country: Paula Kibare (BMX Riga) and Paula Zavinska ("Mythos Foals" / Jelgava BJSS)) There, our two daughters showed great performances. Paula Kibare remained undefeated and became the winner of the competition, while Paula Zavinska won the honorable third place. In the same group, the boys had to win Edgars Langmanis at every turn. In the last race of the BMX Riga, the athlete had to catch eighth place

The third place in the final phase of the B11 group was the ability to compete with Kristers Apels, the young BMX Riga. Edward Tuntress, his club member, won fourth place in the B10 final in a strong competition. Two Latvian athletes entered the final of the nine-year-old boy's final. Markus Domorackis ("Marupe") reached fifth place, while his twin brother Ralf was in eighth place. Lotte Etmane, the representative of MŠA – Valmiera Boy / Derby, was seventh place for girls at the same age.

In the B8 group, Ventspils Spars spokesman Markus Soļs was fifth in the final, while Patrick Krauklis ("MŠA – Valmieras boy") In the G8 group, Kate Sofia Krumina concluded the best eight hours for the girls. Great success in younger age groups – B7 and G7. Bruno Vanagh (BMX Riga) took second place for boys, but girls in Latvia scored twice. The first is Anna Pedraudze ("Tālava / VBSS"), and the second is Ramona Bare ("BMX Riga").
