On the eve of the 765th anniversary of King Mindaugas Coronation, on Friday, July 6th, Lithuania is celebrating the National Day. This time, the celebration is celebrated during the centenary and the concert of the celebration of the song also takes place.

At the center of the festival – King Mindaugas, whose name is linked to the formation of the Lithuanian state in the 13th century. A monument was inaugurated on Thursday, July 5th in Kaunas. For the first time in Lithuania, the national holiday was celebrated after the restoration of independence in 1991, when it was also declared official holiday
