Muzykys Festival for Family and Friends – LNSO Summer House in Rezekne this year

The fifth music festival for family and friends or the muzykys festival for family and friends "LNSO summerhouse" will take place in Rezekne, Latgale Embbady at GORS, ​​from 23 to 25 August, offering a wide range of programs for adults and children, says the spokesperson of the communication of the LNSO, Anna Babre.

The idea of ​​the festival is to move away from the capital to get closer to the listeners of other Latvian concert halls. After three years in Cesis, the festival will take place for the second consecutive year in the heart of Latgale in Rezekne.

Festival visitors will have the opportunity to attend performances of renowned Latvian and foreign artists, known throughout the world and in Latvia.

Among the participants of this year's festival are the Danish / Latvian Carion quintet, singer Linda Leen, saxophonist Gints Paberzs, Latvian radio big band, harpsichordist Ieva Saliete, Perpetuum ritmico percussion ensemble, Rezekne Chamber Orchestra, Chiefs Andris Poga, Gāntis Kānis.

New works for the festival were written by three distinguished authors: the Swedish composer Brita Bistström, the Danish composer Anders Nordentoft and the Latvian composer Andris Dzenītis, while a new children's show "Loranga" was created by the composer Edgars Maakens and director Girts Šolis.
