In the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, there was a solemn international competition yesterday Eurovision 2019 discovery. Participants from 41 Member States participate in this year's competition.
This year the Latvian State will be represented at the competition group "carousel" – soloist Sabine Žuga, guitarist Mārcis Vasiļevskis, double bbad Stanislavs Judins, drummer Mareks Logins, non-singers Zane Bick-Slišāne and Annemarija Moiseja – they will perform together song "That Night".
Eurovision Semifinal 1 LTV1 will be held on May 14 at 22:00 and the 2nd semifinal with Latvian representatives Carousel on May 16 at 22:00. Representatives of Latvia will have to compete in the semifinals with representatives of the following countries: Switzerland, Albania, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Ireland, Austria, Moldova, Macedonia, Norway, Russia, Netherlands, Romania, Croatia, Denmark, Armenia , Lithuania and Malta.
Latvian musicians' stage costumes have been created this year in cooperation with Latvian designer Liga Bang.
It should be noted that the Eurovision 2019 red carpet has already been heavily criticized by stylists and fashion critics for some of the participants' costumes. The hardest words have been "clown parades" and "they have mixed for some time – Halloween will be another month".
