Pitch music is an integral part of the Song and Dance Celebration program. On the centenary of the festivities, the concert "Stīgu brālite, stīgu maziņš!" Brought together the kokle, bringing together the best kokle groups in the country.
The cbadette concert "Stīgās brālīt, stīgu maziņš!" Was presented as a musical journey in time and space, in which "the Latvian soul lives an initiative through a kokle instrument". The piece presents various pieces of Latvian folk songs and original works by composers, as well as original pieces by Vitas Rudušas, Irīnas Rebhūnas, Valta Pūce and Rihards Zaļupes written for this concert
Artistic Chefs of the concert – Iveta Tauriņa, Dzintra Tauniņa , director and playwright – Edgars Niclason Scenography – Sintija Jēkabsone, choreography – Alise Putniņa. Project Manager – Lelde Pruse. Actors – Matīss Budovskis, Aurēlija Rancāne took part in the performance
It has already been reported that the XXVI General Latvian Song and XVI Dance Celebration will take place on the occasion of the centenary of Latvia from June 30, 2018 to July 8 2018.
