On July 7, representatives from various regions of Latvia – traders, craftsmen, artists, dancers and singers – meet at Nēģu Square in Riga's Central Market.
As part of the regional festival Visitors will have the opportunity to savor the typical flavors of each region while enjoying the delights offered by the merchants.
In addition to the fair, from 10am to 4pm in the Campings, a concert dedicated to the County Festival will be organized.
A number of groups of Latvian folk dances will perform at campgrounds, including the Latvian folk dances "Karbunkulis", "Rainbow" and "Sienazītis" of Ireland. The public will also enjoy the contemporary dance group "STOPTIME Dance Studio" from Daugavpils, but the band "Buras" will perform with the musical program "Welcome to the Latvian Regions".
County Day will start at 8:00 AM and continue until 18:00
