The first legendary formulas (F-1) Mick (pictured) of Michael Schumacher's driver, this year's debut in the "Formula 2" series will be under heavy pressure, said former Ferrari chief Ross Brown.

Schumacher won the Formula 3 race last year, but this year he will be in the F-2 Prema Racing team. This series of races is considered the last step towards F-1. The German, aged 20, joined the Ferrari pilot development program early in the year. The agreement concludes that the son of the F-1 legend will undergo two trials this year this year.

Former Michael Schumacher boss, Brown, currently holds the title of F-1 champion in motor sport. "I know Mika since he was a little boy," Brown said. "There was a time when he was not sure of himself, but now Mick is a new committed man."

The talented German dominated the F-2 trials in Spain at the end of February, posting the best time of the last day.

"It's amazing how the competition ability of Mika has increased over the past three years," Brown continued. "People who spend more time with him will tell you what progress has been made in the last year of Mika."

"Mickey has a very balanced family, they have Michael's experience, so they'll know what to do if he succeeds. Many times I've seen the same thing as Michael's at Mickey's." concluded Brown.

Schumacher, who celebrated his 50th birthday earlier this year, continues to recover from the trauma at the end of 2013, when he had fallen into the hiding place of the French Alps. He has suffered serious head injuries and since then information on his background and state of health has been very limited.

The new season of F-2 will begin on March 29 in Bahrain, while the F-1 Championship will be launched this week in Australia.
