The second round of talks on the formation of a government, following the plan proposed by President-elect Raimond Witney, appointed by Prime Minister Alda Gobzema ("KPV LV"), has given rise to several disagreements between political forces. Most parties disagree with KPV LV's decision to hold in camera meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers (MK) and automatically admit state secrets to deputies and ministers of Saeima.

At the second meeting, the political forces discussed a number of technical issues related to the work of the government and the Saeima. The conversation followed the plan initially planned, discovered Gobzem.

Meanwhile, the parties agreed that "KPV LV" would hold a meeting with the president to discuss the issue of tolerance for state secrets. Although it was previously reported that the Office of the Protection of the Constitution (SAB) concluded the need to verify whether Gobzem was able to issue a special permit for access to official secrets, the KPV LV leader emphasized that this issue did not concern him only. KPV LV sees this problem as a "potential threat to democracy".

Gobzem recalled that the nationally tolerated system under the control of KPV LV is clearly undemocratic. It should be recalled that the draft declaration of a potential government previously issued by KPV LV indicates that, in order to strengthen democracy, it is intended to allow deputies and ministers of Saeima automatically access the secret state. Potential partners criticize this point.

After the meeting, the leader of "Homeland and Liberty / LNNK" (NA), Raivis Dzintars, of the National Association "For all Latvia!", Emphasized that democracy had to be counterbalanced by security interests. Latvian security authorities and their leaders have trusted the AN, said Dzintars. "The National Alliance does not explicitly consider the possibility of changing the system so that the automatic approval of all Saeima deputies is granted," explained the party leader.

ZZS representative Edgars Tavars said that the problem of tolerance was not yet solved. He emphasized that granting tolerance to all elected MPs would increase risks.

At the KPV LV meeting, potential partners explained how he was considering the abandonment of coalition council meetings and how he envisioned cabinet meetings in camera. This issue has also raised disputes between potential partners.

Rinkevičius pointed out that "the new unit" opposes closed meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers. Also, "Development / About!" objected to them. According to Owl, KPV LV's arguments regarding the need to bring the government together behind closed doors did not convince the badociation.

According to Raimonds Vejonis, President of Latvia, after meeting all the political forces at the 13th Saeima on November 26, it was announced that he would entrust the formation of the government to the leader of the party "KPV LV" Aldis Gobzems .

President Gömez, alongside the president-elect, Gobzem, like his predecessor, gave two weeks to the new leader of the conservative party, Janis Bordans, to mark the outlines of the government, get the support of the majority of the Saeima and highlight the possible composition of the government and the priority work to be carried out. If Gobzem does not succeed until December 10 (inclusive), Vjonis will remember his appointment and invite another candidate for the post of prime minister to form a government.
