All her life is connected to Latvian radio, since 1964 she has produced radio productions and worked as a pedagogue with other people.

The students unanimously agreed that the teacher had high demands and did not give anyone a reduction in the training process. At the same time, she has a deep humanity and an ability to look into all the souls that are clearly reflected in the work of her director.

Antonia Apele's contribution as director of radio is immense, says Mara Eglite, head of Latvian radio. The director's ability to create mbadive productions with psychologically profound and saturated images. Her collection contains over one hundred and fifty radio productions, including colorful radio readings for children, and an editor-in-chief such as Kolina McKaulov's novel "Songs in the Brood Shrub" starring Anita Grube and Andrejs Žagars in the lead roles, " Mīla, Mrs. Benjamin "By Indra Burkovsku," White Fathers "with Jānis Skani, and many others.
