Former Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) boss, Serjio Markione (pictured), was fired following the shoulder surgery in Zurich, announced FCA President John Elkan. .

"Unfortunately, what we were most afraid of," Elkan said in a statement, "Sergei Markione, a man and a friend, died."

Markione, 66, has recovered from serious complications.

A few days ago, it was reported that after the planned surgery, Markiones' health condition deteriorated rapidly. In this context, the owners of FCA decided to withdraw Markioni and replace Maik Menliy, who until then had been running the car brands "Jeep" and "Ram" in his place.

Markione "Fiat" has been operating since 2004. Under his leadership in 2014, Fiat and the Chrysler Group merged to form the FCA Group. In 2016, Markione separated FCA from Ferrari as a separate company.
