Didzis finished second with a new personal best of 28.19 seconds. The winner of the best Russian swimmer Vladislav Gerasimenko, who finished 28.03 seconds, won the semi-finals.
It was already known before the race that Rudav would be one of the favorites as he was sewn by the fifth best result (28.41 seconds).
Also on Friday morning, Janis Vitauts Silins, who finished at 29.38 seconds, took 20th place and did not allow the semifinals to finish at 50 meters, while Eve Mauluk immediately flew two disciplines – 50 meters back with a score of 30, For 01 seconds, she took the 25th place, but 20 minutes later to 200 meters freestyle, she remains in position 50 (2: 06.92).
As we know, on Thursday, Mauluke reaches the Latvian record for adults. Latvia is represented by seven athletes in the Junior European Championship, which will take place by the end of the week.
