The 10th anniversary of Likhtadar will be celebrated with a gastronomic concert

Saturday, August 11, at 19:00, a concert will be held at Likten Gardens for the launch of the project Likteņdārzs, in which the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the pianist Vestards Šimkus, the singer Daumants Kalnins and the Riga Dome Boys choir will play Imants Kalniņš and Raimonds Pauls compositions, clbadics of Latvian symphonic music, and especially novels written by this concert composed by Vestards Šimkus and Raimonds Tiguls.

As the portal "Delfi" informs the representative of the concert organizer Martins Pučka, the conductor will be the author of the concert idea, Andris Poga, artistic director from LNSO: "The core of this program is a symphonic folk song."

In turn, the Riga Dome Boys Choir will play Raimonds Pauls solo solist song, boys' choir, piano and orchestra.

Clbadical music lovers will appreciate the pearls of Latvian symphonic music such as "Beautiful Sings, the Laughing Songs" from the Jāzeps Vītols cycle "Seven Latvian Folk Song Orchestra" and the Tolvedža Ķenina Symphony Orchestra "Tautasdeja In turn , Šimkus piano and orchestra vests "Beatles Gates" and the new work of Raimonds Tiguls for the orchestra – the symphonic poem Horizon – in dedication to the centenary of Latvia and the Likteņdārzs.
