Dramatic clowns, clowns and irony: these are the works of The Tiger Lillies, formed in London three decades ago. He began his career in the 1990s demonstrating in the bars and streets of Prague, the capital of Czechoslovakia, and, in Prague, with the new album The Tiger Lillies, which will be presented at a concert in Riga , at the VEF Culture Palace, on January 23rd.
"The Tiger Lillies combines seemingly incompatible elements in his work: irony, cabaret, extraordinary musicality, dark sadness, but also sometimes sophistication and pure beauty. These qualities make the performance of the group different, it does not leave a lot of polytheism and indifference. The group will perform for the fourth time in Latvia, continuing to capture the hearts of new audiences. The Tiger Lillies, the so-called "stage anarchists," have already released more than 40 (!) Albums, while their latest performance, The Devil's Fairground, was recorded on October 26 and 27, when Live concerts in Prague with contemporary Berga.
