The black dots that made the image shine are nothing more than dust and mud that leaned into the air when the probe settled. The image also shows the probe itself, that is, the bottom shows one of the three "branches" of the probe.
InSight is equipped with two cameras: the one that took this picture is located on the body of the main probe, while the other is equipped with a "robotic arm" probe. With the latter, you can capture panoramic images.
Astronomers and engineers are delighted that the probe is currently exactly where it should be – north of the equator of Mars.
