The sports complex of the new riding school hosted the first leg of the new school tournament, which brought together novice and experienced riders from the Baltic States in a two-day race to overcome obstacles.
Aigars Bregže with a horse won the "Best Rider of the 2019 Season", overcoming the 130 cm obstacle course of the "New Rider School Tournament" Val di Sole. In second place, Andis Vārna with Conrouet, in the third Aigars Bregže with Avellyna. Sintija Semenkova with Moonlight, Andis Vārna with a horse Humphry and Alexander Shakurov with Cabaletta.
The race routes were in line with the large number of participants – to fight and find the best. Since there is only May and the beginning of the outdoor season, the overall results of the tournament are evaluated positively by the organizers.
"This year, the competition was held at the European level thanks to the new Team system. We are proud to be the first in Latvia to adapt Team, an electronic startup program, which allows you to automatically view start-up procedures and results for every rider, tip or feel, over the internet or over the phone. This facilitated the competition of the runners as it was not necessary to always be near the race area to stay abad of what was happening at the time of the next course, "said Elīna Dzenuško, organizer of the competition and new member of the board of directors of the school.
Three stages of the tournament will be held this season at New Riding School. The next stage is scheduled for July 12th and 13th. On July 14, the most anticipated event of the year – the Latvian Horse Days – a party for lovers of riders, horses and horses. In September, the third season of the season is the third.
