In Lady of Camelia, Margarita Ballet plays a special role for Latvian dancer Anna Laudere, as does Anna 's role in Anna Karenina' s production. Both productions were staged by choreographer John Neumeier in the Hamburg Ballet, who in turn plays a special role in the life of the Latvian ballet dancer.
Everybody wants to give Margaret
"Margarita has such a beautiful role, tragic, but very beautiful, very emotional. As there are three stages, there is really a chance to survive – it's really such a moving adventure," recognizes Anna Laudere, soloist Ballet Company Hamburg, Talent Gallery, Latvian Radio.
Laudere danced for five years in the role of Margarettes in Lady of Camellias, but in November 2018, she was already 40 years old for this choreography by Noyaymeer.
"I know everyone wants to put Margaret back, I absolutely know it, of course, he has a lot of other beautiful, lovely ballets, but that has completely entered the cult ballet," says Laudere.
Although she has played several times in the show, the dancer still has a sense of memory before her first performance of "Camellia's Lady".
"I remembered feeling that I was standing in the back and that I could not wait for the music to start and I could go on stage, I wanted the performance to never end, and that feeling was the first time that I was nervous, I just wanted to go faster on the stage and survive this wonderful adventure in three acts, "reveals Laudere.
"Yes, we are currently preparing intensely [“Brāmss/Balančins”], as well as "Orpheus" by John Noumeier, it's an opera [K. V. Gluka “Orfejs un Eiridīke”]and there will also be a ballet. It's a case that has not even occurred at least for my time while I'm here, I have not seen that opera is with ballet. There will be a big first. There will be the fifth Maler Symphony, which we are currently preparing, and the "Nutcracker" that we are preparing together, as well as Don Quixote. Because there is a lot of work and that is good, "says Laudere.
The dancer is delighted that Noumeier presents to his troops his previous productions, those of other choreographers, who require different techniques.
"He always strives to introduce a variety of styles that, in my opinion, are very valuable and necessary for dancers," Laudere said.
Anna Karenina – try time as in a dream
Recently, in the summer of 2017, Noumeier's ballet performance "Anna Karenina" played a leading role in Lauder premiere.
"We knew that John Noymier would study" Anna Karenin ", I had a cardiac arrest because we never know the composition. The season started on September 2, as I remember now, and an attempt was made for me and my husband Edvinas Revazov .. I still wonder if it 's Anna' s role or another role, but I was already abnormally happy about it. Being in this ballet, and when I realized that it would be studied as it was for me, I had a feeling … "recalls Laudere.
Not only is the process behind, but already several performances, Laudere tells us that the work process was like a dream.
"I lived in such a wonderful dream and I won, and it's not even clear in words, how beautiful it was … it's the time we spent with him [Noimaijeru] in the lobby, how did all this happen?
Because when the show is, of course, beautiful, you dance and feel, and with each show, there are more different feelings and feelings. And when you get more involved and you start changing in different places, you feel different, it's very interesting, but that's the whole process, because at the top, it's a part integral to me, "said Laudere.
Laudere believes that the problems solved in the novel are topical and that the work of the scene is quite well described.
"This production is first and foremost very interesting, and it is so diverse." At first, it was suddenly an idea that I had never seen it before, "said Sarmīte Jakse-Graudiņa, ballet teacher at the Choreography High School. Riga, where Laudere once mastered the clbadic. "I watched and enjoyed, I really enjoyed it." It's been a year and I still live with these memories, it was great. There was no empty space, no wrong movement, really, I have a great pleasure for Anne. "
Partnership in life and dance
In the ballet "Anna Karenina", as well as in several other productions, Lauder's partner is her husband Edvins Revazovs.
"When we are on the scene, we feel that the relationship is more intimate, in the sense that we know each other well, in a way, its feelings are of course different." The big advantage is that we can really working in our free time.We both want to work in our free time, we do it, and after the show, we discuss what was good, what could be better. It's really a big plus ", says Laudere.
"When I was looking at Anna Karenin in the summer, the feeling that the curtain was opening and that there were a lot of people on the stage, but you can not fail to see that this show will be about this nobody because of this energy, "said dancer Elza Leimane, his girlfriend from school. "It was hard for me to see the party because I always swept the tears of pleasure and movement.
It's a personality and a spell. Of course, the work capacity is extremely great, but I like the fact that she can do anything with the heart. She can also relax and work equally, and she is able to connect. That's why I admire him. "
Anna Laudere was born in Sigulda. He studied at the Riga High School of Choreography for six years, but at the age of 16 he went to Germany to continue his studies at the German Academy of fine arts. Two years ago, in 2001, Anna appeared in the Hamburg Ballet Company. In 2008, she became the soloist of this theater. Last year, Hamburg Artistic Director John Noumeier Anna Lauder was appointed soloist of the Hamburg Ballet. The Latvian public appreciated his dazzling talent at the Ballet Star Festivals in Jurmala.
All that is crazy, it's the sea, the Milky Tower and his loved ones
Laudere also says that the first time in Hamburg was heavy and that his choice in Latvia was not unequivocal as to his choice.
"I always say that through people who did not want me and with those who really wanted me to do my best. With this combination, I got where I am now – up to" Anna Karenin " "Camellia's Lady" and working with John Noemeier all these years because I have to thank both of them, "said Laudere.
Although Laudere has been working in Germany for over 17 years, "everyone who loves to have a sea, a milky way and loved ones" continued to work.
"The mug tower with my steam is a very special place for me because, as I like the water, there is the sea next door, the calm and the forest. There is no one around me, it is like meditation.Every year, I have a mandatory measure that I have to be in Michigan, and the longer, the better it is, because I am not sure. I need this silence I think that throughout the season and all the time we spend with people and the city, there are so many thoughts, emotions and energy all around , there is a feeling that there is more room for my thoughts and emotions, "tells the story. Laudere
"I want and I will come back to the Netherlands!" Laudere said after the conversation. She had not been able to tell him in an interview, but now there is Hamburg and John Noymier.
