The organizer of the Riga Festival's Ancient Music Center and its conductor, conductor Maris Kupès, fulfill their mission to introduce and introduce listeners and skeptics with endless treasures of ancient music, making early music close and understandable. Festival artists only play original pieces of original instruments or their copies, especially when they are close to the time when the music is made.
