Continental Hockey League (KHL) The Latvian Riga club "Dinamo" will start on September 2 with the match against Yekaterinburg "Avtomobilist" announced the Latvian team on Wednesday.
A full schedule of the KHL's new season will be released on Thursday, July 5th, but today we know that Rigans' first home game will take place on Nov. 8 against Novosibirsk "Sibirj". We also know that the "Dinamo" Riga will go to Shanghai on September 15 against the "Kilninu Red Star".
In the second half of July, the "Dinamo" of Riga will begin preparations for the new season by training in Piņķi and Liepaja. On July 30, in the pink rink "Inbox.lv", the team will perform a test match with the VHL team in the Neftekamsk Toros
and then from August 5th to 11th at the tournament Hockey City of Nizhny Novgorod, "Governor's Cup 2018". Torpedo hometown, Moscow Dinamo, Avtomobilist, Moscow Spartak and Minsk Dynamo will also play. All teams will play a round robin, each playing five games together.
From August 21st to 26th, Arena Riga will host the traditional international tournament "Latvijas dzelzceļa kauss 2018". Five teams will participate in the tournament this year: the hosts of Riga Dinamo, Yaroslavl Lokomotiv, Kazan Ak Bars, Minsk Dynamo and the Swiss League NLA HC Davos. All teams will play one round, each with four games each.
