For tonight's game against Montenegro, the Latvian team was preparing for 13 players, but there will only be 12 basketball players in the match. At the last minute, Marci Vītolu, the head of the Ukrainian club "Odessa", was invited to join the team, both Aigars Skele and Ingus Jakovics were injured.

However, it should be noted that the composition of the teams varies with each round and that the twelfth Latvian will be significantly different tonight compared to mid-September. This time, no European player will help the Latvian team.

Latvia and Montenegro had won the previous match between the finals of the 2017 European Championship (EČ), where Latvians won 100th place with 68th place with Kristaps Porziģi in the eighth final. Of course, only Johnny Blum, Andrei Grazulis and Mārtiņš Meier will be in the ranks.
