The Latvian Gold League team will fight in a group with Turkey, Slovakia and Belgium. Our first game will be played by our guys today, meeting the best volleyball players in Turkey. "My scouts in Turkey tell me that they do not take the group seriously, that they want to get to the final stage and that they are arguing an appointment with the League of Nations" said Kelle. There are not many experienced people who have looked at bronze in the Silver League last summer, and there is no Andrei Zavorotny, Herman Egleskalns, Sauss Romans and others.
The format of the Gold League badumes that the last 4 are already guaranteed by the Estonian team, which will host the tournament. If the Estonians manage to win their group, the winners of both groups and second place (the best of the three groups) will go to the final round. If the Estonians do not win in their group, they will face the four best teams of the tournament, as well as the winners of each group. Reliable information shows that Estonians will not be in their optimal composition in this tournament.
