What for voting? At 2 pm, answer "Progressive"

The Progressive Party was founded on February 25, 2016. Its creative initiative comes from "progressive" members and supporters. The new political party is in favor of Latvia's economic, social and political rapprochement with the Nordic model. Until now, "Progressive" sociological surveys have never exceeded one percent of public support, but in June they gained 1.1%.

2017. The former secretary of the company "Open Society – Delna" and Roberts Putnis, head of the media policy department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia, became the secretary general of the party on October 16. In the second party congress, Birds was elected president of the council on February 24, 2018.

As stated, "Delfi TV with Janis Domburs" is conducting a series of debates on "For what to vote?" Before the next elections. The first part of this series was broadcast live for two weeks starting May 14th. During these discussions, on each working day, negotiations with party leaders took place on Latvian political forces, their current activities, competition and potential offers. Since all the parties whose community support according to publicly available sociological surveys has recently exceeded 1% in one month at least one month ago, the list was joined by the "Progressives", which reached 1.1% in June survey data. Three of their formal and real leaders are invited to the discussion of each party.

Delfi portal and the director of the program, Janis Domburs, asking viewers to ask politicians questions or encourage topics that are questionable. This can be done by sending an e-mail ([email protected]) or by using the "Delphi Eyewitness" system, where all submitted questions will be collected and viewed publicly.
