Season 9 is almost upon us as season 8 draws to a close. Epic Games has released the first teaser for Season 9 and it's strange.

Season 8 has been long due to constant disappointments and mistakes made by Epic Games, but the dreaded season is almost over. Season 9 should begin in a few days.

Epic Games just released the first teaser of season 9. Similar to previous seasons, all we get is an image for the moment.

Epic Games released the first teaser of Season 9 for Fortnite. As with other seasons, they tweeted the image of a skin that comes into play.

The only information we have so far for season 9 is: "The future is unknown." Though vague, it certainly contains a lot of truth.

With all the major events occurring in the volcano / volcano, most of the information disclosed on upcoming events is dried up. As soon as more information is available, we will let you know.

At first glance, the presentation image above might suggest Japanese themes for the coming season. The style of the mask is similar to that of the "Oni" masks of Japanese culture. The Oni are a kind of demon in Japanese mythology, usually described as monsters or bad guys.

The colors / patterns separated from the mask and the little horns at the top are very similar to the Oni. We do not expect Season 9 to be entirely based on Japanese folklore, as Epic Games tends to take several themes and mix them in each new season.

Beyond this superficial information, we do not know much about Season 9 at this stage. The volcano recently destroyed inclined towers and the retail trade, but we think even larger map changes are imminent.

The colors of the image draw our minds towards Rifts, so maybe the next season will again be strongly based on the Rift dimension. This seems to be an excellent broadcast system for new characters and themes from the Fortnite Universe.
