Brian Laundrie’s sister Cassie told protesters outside her home that her family had ignored her after her brother went missing and Gabby Petito died.
NORTH PORT, Florida – The timeline of Brian Laundrie’s whereabouts since returning to Florida in his fiancee’s van on September 1 continues to evolve as family attorney confirms new details about the day he went missing from the home of his parents in North Port.
According to a statement by lawyer Steven Bertolino, Brian Laundrie left the home of his parents, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie, in his silver Ford Mustang on Monday, September 13 – and not on Tuesday, September 14, as they previously told the FBI.
Bertolino’s statement indicates that the Mustang was back home from Laundrie on Wednesday, September 15.

“After further communication with the FBI and confirmation of the Mustang’s presence at the Laundrie residence on Wednesday, September 15, we now believe that the day Brian left for a hike in the reserve was Monday, September 13,” indicates the press release.
Public pressure is mounting for laundry parents to speak out
As the search for Brian Laundrie and the answers to Gabby Petito’s death continue, so does the scrutiny of his parents, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie.
The Laundrie family have been silent since Gabby Petito went missing on September 11.

After not speaking to investigators for days, on Friday, September 17, the Laundrie family called law enforcement officers to their home to reveal that they had not seen Brian for most of the week. and that they were concerned about his well-being.
They told investigators Brian had left with a backpack a few days earlier, heading for the Carlton reservation. At the time, Bertolino said Brian’s parents went to the reservation to pick him up on Wednesday, September 15 and found his car, but left it so he could drive home. Then they said they had come back the next day to collect the car themselves.
According to the attorney’s new statement, it appears that Christopher and Roberta Laundrie returned to the reserve to collect their son’s car a day before their previous report.
