Laura Ingraham is once again controversial … this time with her controversial comments on Nipsey Hussle. Rappers T.I., Snoop Dogg and the Game, as well as artist Tank R & B, came to Hussle's defense on social media and demanded the referral of the Fox News host.
Ingraham mocked YG 2016's "FDT" song, starring Hussle, on his show "The Ingraham Angle". This song includes the chorus "F- Donald Trump".
"All right, it's a very creative chorus," Ingraham said Friday, a day after the Hussle Memorial in Los Angeles. "The chorus that continues, is this tied to the lowest unemployment rate ever recorded, essentially, for African Americans?"
After the program, Tank posted a picture on Instagram, saying "Fire Laura Ingraham," to which others have added their own comment, with countless musicians asking for her ouster.
"So, I tell you what will happen here …. @foxnews triggers this disrespectful attitude – tomorrow, Monday morning, otherwise you will lose millions of viewers, one person at a time, until it radically affects your ratings, your points of view, and so on. "Nips does not pass nor does its legacy be taken lightly because there will be consequences for any disrespect, now or in the future, as long as I have a voice."
This is not the first time that Ingraham receives negative feedback and subsequent loss of sponsors for his comments. In March of last year, Ingraham said that Parkland survivor David Hogg was lamenting his lack of acceptance of college education. As a result, she has encountered the departure of key advertisers such as Hulu, Johnson & Johnson and Expedia. Ingraham also criticized when NBA star LeBron James criticized President Donald Trump, asking him to "shut up and dribble." Ingraham has not yet apologized for his statements regarding Hussle.
"Disrespect to the deceased is not new! It's just a lack of respect, "Tank said in a post on Instagram.
"It's disgusting! You're both ugly, ugly excuses for people." TI added, also on Instagram. "My expectations having already so diminished for humanity over the past two weeks, that's not enough. Not much of a surprise … especially from @foxnews. "
