Lauren London says goodbye to Nipsey Hussle.
Just one day after the late rapper's "celebration of life" memorial service, his girlfriend inked Hussle's face on his arm.
"True love never dies.When you see me, you will always see it," she captioned on the picture of a new tattoo, a large portrait of her face with the words "God will rise up" – the same sentence the rapper had tattooed beside his right eye.
The 34-year-old actress spoke at the rapper's funeral at Staples Center in Los Angeles, telling the 21,000 attendees that he was "the love of my life."
She also read aloud a text message she had written to her late partner. "I want you to know that I feel real joy in my heart when I am around you. I feel safe around you. Protected. Like a shield on me when you're around, I'm quite myself when I'm with you, "London wrote. "You made me a woman. You gave me the opportunity to really love a man. "
London is not the only one to remember Hussle with permanent ink: NBA player JR Smith and rapper The Game also had their face encrusted on the body recently.

After the fatal shootout, London broke its silence on Instagram. "I am completely lost, lost my best friend, my sanctuary, my protector, my soul …", she wrote. Hussle, whose real name is Ermias Asghedom, was shot dead last month in front of his clothing store in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, his hometown. The suspect, Eric Holder, was charged with murder, attempted murder and a charge of possession of a firearm by a criminal.
