Lauren London pays tribute to Nipsey Hussle on the occasion of the late rapper’s 35th birthday: “Eternally Yours”

On August 15, Lauren London honored Nipsey Hussle for what would have been her 35th birthday. the ATL The actress shared a black-and-white Instagram photo of the “Double Up” rapper with a heartfelt post that reads:

King Ermias
Best friend
Twin flame
The greatest teacher
Beautiful strong ship
The spiritual giant who walked the earth.
“I miss you” will never be deep enough for the void left in my soul.
Yet I know you are walking with me – still still.
Happy 35th
Eternally yours, Boogie.

Lauren’s tribute came four months after praising Nipsey on the first anniversary of her death. “The pain is as heavy today as it was a year ago,” she captioned an Instagram photo of them. “God knows I would give anything to see you again.” Nipsey was fatally shot outside his store, The Marathon Clothing, in Los Angeles in March 2019. The couple, who had been together since 2013, have a 3-year-old son named Cross. Lauren also shares a 10-year-old son with ex-boyfriend Lil Wayne, and Nipsey had a daughter, Emani, 11, from a previous relationship.

Other stars – including Rick Ross, DJ Khaled and Swizz Beatz – also paid tribute to Nipsey. Snoop Dogg has also released a new track, Nipsey Blue, dedicated to the late rapper. “Just the mention of your name / makes me want to paint my game,” Snoop says in the song inspired by Dorothy Moore’s 1976 hit, “Misty Blue”. He continues, “Listen to me, mate / When I think about the things we used to do / My whole world becomes Nipsey Blue.”
