Lawmakers in N.Y. Approve Draft Driving License Law for Undocumented Immigrants

New York could become the 13th state to allow driver's licenses for immigrants illegally entering the United States. The state Senate approved the proposal Monday after the vote of the assembly last week. Democrats run both houses. It is now up to Governor Andrew Cuomo to pass the bill.
