LANSING, MI (WILX) A Grammy-winning jazz musician who grew up in Lansing was found dead.
The body of Lawrence "Lo" Leathers, 37, was found in the hallways of an apartment building in the Bronx, New York.
The New York Police Department reported having a suspect in connection with the death.
Leathers & # 39; was a graduate of Sexton High School.
He attended classes at the Michigan State University School of Music before moving to New York.
