On the Ellen DeGeneres Show This week, things got a bit heated between DeGeneres and actress Leah Remini.
A clip from Tuesday’s episode reveals a slightly awkward exchange between the talk show host and the former King of queens Star. While talking about the pranks she’s playing on her daughter, Remini is suddenly afraid that Ellen is about to do one of her signature pranks and startle her.

In the middle of her story, Remini looks over both shoulders to make sure no one is behind her before telling DeGeneres: In My Story.
“I’m still interested,” DeGeneres replied.
“You are not Ellen!” exclaimed Remini.
Remini then gets up from his chair, leans in and slaps Ellen’s arm three times.
“This is my last season, don’t hurt me,” Ellen replies with a laugh.
After sitting down, Remini points out that she is all fun and playful. “I love you, I miss you, and I’m so happy to be here in your final season,” she said.
Remini then posted her Instagram appearance to emphasize the playfulness of the conversation, writing: “Nothing but love despite my ‘face’ with one of my favorite people!”
It seems Remini and DeGeneres have lived up to these antics for quite some time. A video of Remini’s appearance on Ellen’s show nine years ago showed them fighting.
In the old video, DeGeneres presents Remini with the ironic “Top Mid-Life Achievement Award”.
When the music instantly starts playing, preventing Remini from giving a speech, DeGeneres tries to remove Remini from the lectern. Under the bit, the two then begin to “wrestle” until they have both tackled each other to the ground.
