Still, the design of the two devices doesn’t look too different from their predecessors, and fans of the series might not be happy with that. A common complaint of the Surface Pro 7 was its unchanged design from previous generations, which makes it more surprising that Microsoft is once again adopting the same old look for the Surface Pro 8. Regarding the specifications, Windows Central says the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Laptop 8 are expected to ship with 11th generation Intel processors with Intel Xe graphics. There are also unconfirmed reports of an AMD version of the Surface Laptop 4. The time to market for both devices is set for mid-January and not until October, when the series typically launches.
