Leaked photos show possible DJI FPV racing drone

This is supported by DJI leaker @OsitaLV, who tweeted that the DJI FPV could have 4K 60fps on-board recording with stabilization more suited to cinema video than racing (comp drones typically have low latency, low resolution cameras). The top speed of 150 km / h (93 mph) is also good for video, but slower than the 120 mph + speeds of competition FPV drones. That said, the DJI FPV would also be ideal for FPV leisure flying / racing.

As it stands, high-speed cinematic FPV drones are largely tinkered with parts, using cameras from GoPro and others, often with stabilization software like ReelSteady. These are then mounted on special racing drones capable of supporting the weight. If the leak is accurate (and that’s a big ‘if’), that means DJI is simplifying this idea and making it more consumer-friendly, just like it has done with aerial photography drones.
