RIYADH, Dec. 13 (KUNA) – Egyptian player Karim Mamoun won the second Arab Masters title on Thursday, while compatriot Sharif Sabri and Saudi player Fahd Al Saad were third.
"We have witnessed a unique and exciting event, with the participation of the best players from Arab countries in the championship," said the President of the Arab Tennis Federation and the President of the Kuwaiti Tennis Federation, Sheikh Ahmad Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He congratulated the distinguished organization of the championship and the level of players, and thanked the Saudi Federation for this wonderful organization and affection enjoyed by the players and the high level of leaders.
He pointed out the great advantage of the players participating in this tournament because of the high level and the presence of a large number of distinguished players, and expressed the hope that a greater number of players participate in the tournament to increase this advantage in the coming years.
"We thank the Saudi Arabian Federation for this, and we hope to see the greatest number of players participating in international adult tournaments, such as ATP or Futures (Challengers) and their World ranking is better than Tunisian player Malik Jaziri.

Sheikh Ahmed Al Jaber explained that the presence of players with a name and a world ranking in such tournaments would be attractive to the public to watch to be like them.
For his part, the president of the Saudi Tennis Federation, Mohammed Al-Ajaji, said in a similar statement to KUNA that the success of this tournament was supported by the president of the Arab Tennis Federation, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Jaber Al -Sabah, as well as by the president of the Saudi General Authority of Sport, Turki Al-Sheikh, and his vice-prince, Abdulaziz Bin Turki, who pleaded for the defense Such sporting events are on the land of the kingdom.
Al Ajaji said that the participation in the tournament was positive and of a very distinguished technical level for the players, stressing that we had enthusiastically touched the players who had expressed their desire to continue such tournaments.
He added that such tournaments are not subject to the international ranking in the meetings between players but to the participation of the Arab countries, they therefore give the opportunity to contact and meet players of the highest level and therefore to present a great advantage for the players.
He explained that the public presence in the championship was good and wanted a bigger presence in the next tournaments organized by the Kingdom or any other Arab country to help the Arab players to emerge and show themselves by meeting in a tournament that attracts mbades from different Arab countries.
Kuwaiti player Bader Antar participated in the tournament held in the Saudi capital (Riyadh), which began on December 10 with the participation of 16 players from 10 Arab countries. (End)
