KUWAIT, Aug. 1 (KUNA) – The Kuwait Department of Public Affairs has announced that the total value of transactions executed in July amounted to KD 334,000 (about US $ 1 million).
Acting Director of Administration, Mubarak Al-Otaibi, said in a press release on Thursday that the total of transactions issued and received last month rose to 2,244 transactions.
Al-Otaibi added that the number of certificates issued to individuals and institutions amounted to 92 certificates and 137 books to ministries and government agencies. The objections commission of the administration held a meeting for a treatment.
The Department seeks to expropriate and temporarily expropriate properties and lands for the public good on the basis of decisions made by the Council of Ministers or City Council and by determining financial allocations for badessed damages. (End)
