KUWAIT, Jan. 20 (KUNA) – Barcelona defeated Liganes (3-1) on Sunday in Ligue 1 to consolidate their top-ranked standings.
Barcelona's Osman Dembli scored in the 32nd minute, Luis Suarez in the 71st minute and Lionel Messi in the 92nd minute. He scored the lone goal for Martin Prithwaite in the 57th minute.
The Barca scored 46 points early in the game, bringing the bar of Atletico Madrid to five points, while Liganes has 22 points in 14th place.
