IRBIL, Aug. 2 (KUNA) – The Lebanese side won Friday the second round of the West Asian Football Championship in Iraq.
Nader Matar in the 80th minute and Hbadan Mooney in the 91st minute were the two goals of Lebanon's victory in the Karbala international stadium clash in the first group of the tournament, while Syria's only goal was to score Ahmed Al-Doni in the 48th minute.
At the end of the second round of the first group, Iraq leads the group with six points, followed by Lebanon and Palestine with three points each, then Syria and Yemen with no points. (End) f / min
