Through its hospitals and health centers in Mecca and Medina, the Ministry of Health continues to provide specialized services to pilgrims during the pilgrimage season this year.
According to the ministry, the number of pilgrims who have benefited from health services in hospitals and health centers in Mecca and Medina since the first day of the month of Dhu al-Qada until the twentieth day of Zul- Qa'd reached 59,766 pilgrims and needs, where 53 open-heart operations and cardiac catheterization were performed, 304 dialyses, 17 laparoscopes, 101 different surgeries, 496 pilgrims and hospital needs, one birth was recorded, 4 cases of Exhaustion due to heat and 3 cases of heat stroke.
It is worth mentioning that "Health" has prepared for the Hajj season this year 1440 AH a number of hospitals and health centers in Mecca and in holy places and in Medina by equipping 25 hospitals, 156 centers of health, with more than 25,000 health practitioners, as well as 5,000 hypnosis beds in hospitals And equipped with 18 medical points in train feelings, in addition to the treatment of 180 ambulances, and set up 17 centers emergency on the Jamarat bridge.
