The Ministry of Health explained that its hospitals and health centers in Mecca, Madinah and the Holy Places continue to provide quality services to pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage season in 1440.
The ministry explained that the number of pilgrims who have received health services in hospitals and health centers since the first day of the month of Dhul-Qada and until the eighth day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah has reached 316 919 pilgrims and needy, 29 operations were performed open heart and 685 heart catheterizations.
She added: 1938 kidney dialysis operations, 102 laparoscopic operations and 532 operations, while 2475 pilgrims and hospital needs were admitted and 7 births were registered.
