Books – Assem Al-Ansari:
Facebook plans to combine messaging services with its applications, integrating discussions with Watsab, Messenger and InStagram, so that users of Watsab can start a conversation with Instagram or Messenger, breaking the barriers between Social Platforms on Facebook.
According to the New York Times, the merger project is still in its infancy. Its launch is scheduled for the end of this year or the beginning of the year 2020.
According to Forbes magazine, this makes the data of all Watsab users very risky.
Despite Facebook's badurances that it will adopt the same "end-to-end encryption" technology as Wattsab uses, doubts remain.
Forbes presented what he described as the "five alternatives" currently available to implement Watsab, on which the user can rely on the exchange of relatively encrypted messages, as follows:
1 – Viper
It's a free email application that has over 900 million active users. It now relies on a complete encryption system, which allows it to compete with applications such as Watsab, in particular because it offers secure and high quality calls.
2 – Sinal
The application is the preferred application of security application developers worldwide because of the reliability of its cryptographic system, especially because it is an open-source encryption application that allows developers to constantly test and debug their software.
3 – Telegram
The Telegram app has 180 million active users, one of the largest secure messaging platforms in the world, offering full encryption technology and the "secret conversations" feature, which allows the user to delete the message immediately after it is received by the recipient, No discussion is stored on their servers.
4. wick
The Wicher messaging application includes an encryption system very similar to that of the Sinal application, but the latter is constantly developing a system for detecting flaws, all the more so as it offers a system of hackers who discovers the security flaws of the system, described as the most important in the world.
5. iPhone
Watsab users can also use the iPhone phone, which includes a number of messaging applications such as iSpeed or even the wireless Internet messaging service, using the powerful IOS operating system.
