The Syndicate of Pharmacists in Alexandria condemned the remarks made by the Minister of Health during her visit to the Port Said Hospital to monitor the health insurance system. According to her, "the absence of 100 pharmacists does not cause a crisis, while the absence of a nurse is effective".
On Sunday, Dr. Mohamed Ansi El Shafei, of the Syndicate of Pharmacists of Alexandria, announced five urgent measures to be taken by the union, through communication with all responsible authorities in order to respond to the statements of the Minister of Health, including a request for a meeting with the Prime Minister to present a formal protest note and to communicate with several members. The Council must request briefings on the issue.

And an immediate clarification of his statements in Port Said.
In its statement, the union sent a letter to the Prime Minister in which it was written: "We ask you to intervene immediately in the debates that took place and caused the agitation of public opinion and about a quarter of million pharmacists as well as congestion among the pillars of the health system. "
According to the union's statement, pharmacists have participated in many projects and have suffered from difficulties in the success of national campaigns sponsored by the President of the Republic, including the most recent campaign "100 million people" and the campaign for of women's health. For less than seven months, strange statements and decisions by the Minister of Health have been insulting to young pharmacists. Graduation in the House of Representatives and delay the decisions of their mission of 5 months and in places far from their place of residence of more than 15 hours.
According to the statement, pharmacists have not hesitated to play an effective role in health campaigns, including the preparation of the comprehensive health insurance project in the Port Said governorate, but the minister has continued her remarks at the Port Said Health Insurance Fund, where she tried to reduce the role of pharmacist, causing a health system crisis.
He pointed out that reducing the role of pharmacists is unacceptable, especially that statements by a state official must support all health system officials, especially as long as the role of pharmacists is unaffected. The State is carrying out national projects in the field of health and citizen services and respects all responsible persons.
