The AFC Executive Bureau announced its support to the Palestinian Football Federation for the violations committed by the Israeli side and suggested that FIFA set up a task force to deal with this issue. Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, president of the AFC, said: "We hope that a positive outcome will be achieved through the team and our commitment to support the position of the Palestinian Federation. The executive bureau also considered the request of the Bahraini Football Federation to allow Bahraini clubs to participate in the Saudi league, and the bureau decided to submit this request to Viva after filling in all the required documents.
