Kuwait beats fifth in fifth place

KUWAIT (Reuters) – The Kuwait Club maintained its lead over the Viva Champions League on Wednesday with a 5-1 victory over Tadamon in the match at the 10th round of the Friendship Stadium.

Kuwait's goals were scored by Faisal Zayed in the 15th minute, Hamza Ahmar in the 27th minute, Saber Khalifa in the 37th and 50th minutes and Hamid Mido in the 77th minute.

Kuwait took the lead with a 26-point lead, while Al-Tadamon stayed eight points behind.

In the second match, which took place at Thamer Stadium, Al Salmiya was tied 2-2, which earned him a point, two points to 22 and a valuable two-point loss in his fight against Kuwait. He scored six points to stay eighth.
