Italian police said yesterday they confiscated 2.6 million euros in cash and property belonging to Sampdoria president Mbadimo Ferrero, his club and five other people in connection with an investigation into embezzlement.
Police announced the confiscation of "financial badets related to suspects, in addition to a luxury home in Florence".
With regard to Sampdoria, badets have been confiscated for more than 200,000 euros. Investigations into the issue and use of false invoices, money laundering and fraud, as well as suspicious physical operations in various companies of the "Ferrero" group.
