The Conspola is expected to issue an official statement later Thursday from its headquarters in Paraguay.
The Boca Juniors Confederation Independent Disciplinary Committee is scheduled to hear Thursday to calculate the result for him after the River Plate supporters' violence, which has led to further confusion.
The top two Argentinian clubs drew 2-2 in the first leg at Boca Juniors on 11 November. The deciding match was to take place Saturday at Monumenthal Stadium in River Plate.
The Boca Juniors players were injured when the team bus was attacked by River Plate supporters while they were going to the stadium. The game was postponed for the first time on Sunday, then indefinitely.
The violence embarrbaded Argentina a few days before hosting the G20 summit in Buenos Aires earlier this week.
Qatar was designated as an alternative venue for the match after Conficol was sidelined in Argentina for security reasons.
The winner of the Copa Libertadores, the Champions League competition, will represent the South American federation at the World Cup of Clubs to be held in the UAE next month.
The tournament will start on December 12th and the South American team will play its first game on December 18th.
