A science team has identified the impact of obesity on the development of asthma in children by badyzing the results of studies conducted in the United States over the past eight years. The study included more than 40,000 children aged 2 to 17 with various types of asthma and another 100,000 who were obese. When the two groups were compared, scientists discovered a specific cause. One third of asthma cases are badociated with obesity and inflammation of the lungs and other tissues in the case of excess weight.
The fight against obesity in children will not only protect future generations of hypertension, diabetes and premature deaths, but also the spread of autoimmune diseases and other similar diseases.
